    Uluru Tours From Darwin

Making 2017 you’re biggest travelling year yet? Don’t miss Australia’s centre piece on a 5 day tour from Darwin to Uluru.

Departing from Darwin on this whistle stop tour of central Australia’s dusty landscapes you will first visit the stunning Edith Falls, an area of swimming holes, waterfalls and intricate rock faces. The perfect place to cool off before heading to the Mataranka Thermal Springs – a healing, natural spring to sooth aching muscles.

    The Devils Marbles

    The Devils Marbles

As you make your way to Alice Springs you’ll stop at Karlu Karlu A.K.A the Devils Marbles. These weird, unnatural looking, spherical rock formations seem like they have been purposefully and precariously placed on top of one another – as if defying gravity, so be sure to get your camera ready!

Next up is the rock you’ve been waiting for as you arrive at Uluru. Gaze up at its magnificent presence and learn about the flora, fauna and Aboriginal culture at the Cultural Centre surrounding the world famous monolith. Stay for the sunset (certainly the best time to capture the magic of the place with a glass of champagne) and admire the colours radiating from the rock and the sky as the spectacular scenes unfold. Hit the sack early because it’s up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to see the sunrise over the rock, which is just as mesmerizing as sunset.

    The Olgas

Kata Tjuta also known as The Olgas at sunset.

    Kata Tjuta

You will then be taken to Kata Tjuta, another eerie and stunning rock formation of domed rocks that dominate the landscape. These almost miniature versions of Uluru are bizarre to walk through and will certainly be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. Come the evening you’ll spend a night at King’s Creek station, an authentic outback lodge, so get ready for an evening of relaxing by the pool with beers and a BBQ to boot! A perfect way to end a long day of walking!

    Kings Canyon

It’s up early the next day for the dizzying Kings Canyon Rim Walk, a spectacular hike along the edge of the 300m high canyon, where the ‘Garden Of Eden’ sits. Stunning views of the Watarrka National Park are yours once you reach the top.

This amazing outback tour concludes with a relaxing camel ride through the dramatic landscape before heading back to Alice Springs where the trip ends.
