Big Sounds. Big Season. Big Sundays – Perth 23 March – 29 June

Sunday Piazza Live

If there wasn’t already loads of reasons to reviist Northbridge with its galleries to name one, the return of Sunday Piazza Live starting on the 23rd March will definitely be another huge reason to journey to Perth. Since its start in 2012 the range in music has drastically expanded. From initially a partnership with the Business Improvement Group of Northbridge (BigN) to try to bring live jazz to the city the event has grown to incorporated genres from rock to classical music.

The event organiser Garry Lee and Event Programmer John Healy are very proud that the event they set up is able to atract the best acts from WA as well as those worldwide.

On speaking about the variety of music being staged the Lord Mayor said, “Everyone can appreciate good music by talented musicians, no matter what your preferred style,”. She continued by adding, “Every season of this event continues to grow along with our capital city to reflect the diversity of our city’s people and variety of musical tastes.” It’s a reflection of the city and Northbridge where it is finding that the visitors are coming back weekend after weekend to experience the different sounds and bringing new people with them to enjoy the events.

Since growing nationwide loyal following due to their exuberant performances fusing old time music and sweet harmonies, The Seals who are a six-piece band will be kicking off the Sunday Piazza Live. Their performances get the audience dancing and ensure they have a great time with the barn-stomping rhythms.
