BLANKE & GODLANDS TEAM UP

Burgeoning Australian Bass Artists Tapped to Support Illenium & Joyryde (Respectively) on Select US Dates

Fusing expansive build-ups, melodic interludes and frenetic drops, Australian producers Blanke and Godlands bring new school mid-tempo energy via their new single “Hellraiser” out October 11 via Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label and via Downright in Australia & New Zealand.

Coming off the release of his Change & Decay EP on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label last month, Australian producer Blanke is a master of synthesizing sounds old and new. Drawing inspiration from electro house and mid-tempo bass, his unique remixes of tracks such as Steve Aoki’s “Pretender (feat. Lil Yachty & AJR)” and PNAU’s “Changa” received international attention and acclaim, with the latter racking up over 10 million Spotify streams. Most recently, Blanke collaborated with Illenium on “Gorgeous” and he is set to join select dates on Illenium’s upcoming Ascend Tour, including a performance at Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre this week. The run of shows add to Blanke’s non-stop 2019, which saw the Aussie sensation perform at EDC Las Vegas, Hard Summer, Paradiso and Ever After music festivals.

Collaborating with Blanke on “Hellraiser,” is the self-proclaimed ‘hellraiser’ Godlands  herself. Sitting at the forefront of Australia’s burgeoning bass music scene, the Adelaide-based musician had an ascendant year with the release of her debut EP, 4 U Only. The Dim Mak five-tracker showcased the rising producer’s versatility and was met with widespread acclaim from the likes of Complex, Mixmag and DJ Mag. Following an intimate run of club dates across Australia and New Zealand, Godlands takes her big bass sounds to North America this month, where she’ll support Joyryde on select shows at New City Gas (Montreal), Echostage (Washington, DC) and Avant Gardner (Brooklyn, NY). She’ll close out the year with a series of festival dates, including Our House, Spilt Milk and Festival X.
