Hunter Valley Day Trips
The Hunter Valley is a place of beauty made famous by it’s array of vineyards and wineries.
An organised day trip is the best way to visit the region as chances are you will be talked into a quick wine tasting or 10 as your tour group makes it’s way from one winery to the next.
With so many things to do and see you will be thankful that you have your trusty tour guide to help you navigate your way through the Hunter Valley. They will become your best friend while making all of the tough decisions for you (which winery to go to next?), driving the bus and if need be, helping you back on to the bus if you have reached your daily wine intake limit, which inevitably will happen.
Now with all of this wine you will be responsibly consuming, there will come a point where you will need to feed yourself, so fortunately the Hunter Valley is not only known for its wine, but also it’s chocolate and cheeses.
Hunter Valley day trips will usually stop at the Smelly Cheese Shop where you can sample their vast range of Australian and imported cheeses.
You may also like to visit one of the Hunter Valley chocolate shops and spoil yourself while sampling their tempting range of chocolates.
Perhaps even stop in at the Hunter Valley Olive Shop and sample some olive oils and dips.
