Here’s some of our favourite things to do in Western Australia.

  • Karijini National Park. This natural attraction is simply one you have to see to believe. Twobillion years in the making, this place is a must-see for any adventurer. Massive gorges, rockpools, waterfalls, ancient chasms and more make up this spectacular feat of nature.
  • Purnululu (Bungle Bungle) National Park. Located in the Kimberly region of WA, this park ismade up of incredible domes of rock. This park was also undiscovered until 1983 – onlybeing used by indigenous people up until then.
  • Horizontal Waterfalls. In Talbot Bay there are two horizontal waterfalls, which are theperfect spot for thrill seekers. Take a ride down the white waters or experience a scenicflight to truly appreciate the beauty here.
  • Gibb River Road. This iconic route is definitely a must-see for any serious outbacker orprofessional traveller. Originally built for herding cattle, this modest dirt trail runs for 660kmand offers plenty of opportunities for stopping at the freshwater gorges.
  • Pender Bay. This National Heritage is perfect for whale watching, swimming and snorkelling.It’s a secluded enclave located just north of Broome, and is home to one of the world’slargest populations of humpback whales.
  • Zebedee Springs. Make the walk through the historic forest of Livistona and you will bewelcomed by warm pools and waterfalls. Although Western Australia isn’t known for itsforest, this is a beautiful place to relax and unwind.
