Max Chapman is about set off for his debut Australian and New Zealand tour.
Based in Essex, Max Chapman is a man who means business. His trademark tech house sound has been ringing in our ears ever since his track ‘Body Jack’ (which was signed to Elrow) hit Beatport’s #1 spot last year. Since then, things have only gone skyward for the now dominant figure in the scene.
Max frequently releases new music on a number of elite labels such as Riva Starr’s Snatch!, Elrow, Lost, Madtech, VIVa, his own imprint Resonance Records and Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, where his next release ‘La Fiesta’ drops later this month. Already gaining traction, ‘La Fiesta’ was premiered by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 a few days back for his weekend hot mix.
Making sure he stays busy before his Australian debut, Max is currently in the middle of a fifteen show spell in August with almost a day-on-day off style tour schedule. Once touching down in Aus Max’s tour starts in Perth on September 14, then he’s off to Melbourne’s tech house haven Pawn & Co. Friday the 20th, Chinese Laundry in Sydney on the 21st and finally Electric Rush in Queenstown on the 22nd.
Friday 13 October: Young Tokyo @ Sugar, Adelaide
Saturday 14 October: Saul Bliss @ Babushka, Perth
Friday 20 October: Frequency @ Pawn & Co., Melbourne
Saturday 21st October: Chinese Laundry. Sydney
Sunday 22 October: Electric Rush, Queenstown
