Motion – New Disco Night at Surry Hills

Imagine you’re in a dream where all the guys are wearing flares and shirts with collars wide enough that you can hide your illegal immigrant housemaid and all the girls are wearing halter neck onesies with their hair tonged. And in this dream, the DJ is playing the most amazing disco records the world has ever heard. And you’re there, doing the hustle with 150 other beautiful people and everything’s going to be alright and it’s the best night of your life, right?

Stop dreaming and start believing. Motion is a disco night happening on Saturday 17 July at the Hollywood Hotel in Surry Hills. Motion DJs will be playing Northern Soul and 70’s Disco, all on original vinyl. Everyone will be dressed up as if it’s their last night on earth. DJs are Northern Soul Poster Boy, DJ Burn Hard, Dave Fernandes and Dean Dixon. Its on from 8 pm – 2.30 am with a $5 cover charge. Anybody caught sneaking in their illegal immigrant housemaid under their shirt collar will be asked to pay double.
