The Legend Of Luke Kelly: Chris Kavanagh & The Patriots

Chris Kavanagh Legend Of Luke Kelly

To mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Dubliner Folk singer, Luke Kelly, Chris Kavanagh & The Patriots will tour Australia in July 2014 with special guest, Paddy Casey.

Regarded as the greatest Folk artist of the 1900s, Kelly created music that will always be considered a national treasure in Ireland, so it is fitting that another singer, songwriter and instrumentalist that was inspired by this late, great man, will pay homage to him with a live tour. Crediting Kelly as the man that led him to play the five-string long neck banjo, Chris Kavanagh will play Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney with a powerful performance not too different from Kelly’s.

Also taking to the stage will be fellow Dubliner, Paddy Casey, who will be treating ticket-holders and folk-lovers to music from albums ‘Amen (So Be It)’, ‘Addicted To Company’ and ‘The Secret Life Of’.

Remember Luke Kelly with the brilliant Chris Kavanagh & The Patriots, plus special guest, Paddy Casey. Tour dates below.
