What to Expect on Broome to Darwin Tours
Spot crocodiles along the way

Next it’s off to Windjana Gorge to spot a saltwater crocodile or two before taking to the Gibb River Road that will take you into the heart of the Kimberley Region. It’s along this part of the journey where you can stop off for a dip at either Galvins or Adcock Gorge before camping at Manning Gorge.

The Gibb River Road

The next day will take you back on to the Gibb River Road to El Questro Station where you will also have the task of crossing a river in the 4WD for an added sense of adventure!

Purunulu National Park

After enjoying the delights of El Questro with two nights camping it’s time to limber up for your trip to Purnululu National Park to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is the Bungle Bungle Ranges. These enormous stripey domes are impressive to say the least and surprisingly were only “discovered” in 1983 by a film crew. After your visit to the Bungle Bungles, and Durack Ranges it’s time to bed down under the starry night’s sky in a traditional Aussie swag.

After two days of taking in the land surrounding the Bungle Bungles ranges it’s off to Lake Argyle where you’ll have some free time to enjoy the area, or take an optional sunset cruise. Whilst visiting Lake Argyle you’ll have the chance to spot Barramundi, birds and even freshwater crocodiles so keep those hands and feet well inside the boat!

Katherine Gorge
Visit the stunning Katherine Gorge

Katherine Gorge, Northern Territory

From here you’ll cross the state border over into the Northern Territory. It’s here that you’ll make your final stops at either Katherine Gorge of the stunning Edith Falls before arriving in Darwin where the tour concludes.

This 9 day tour is the perfect way to make the journey from Western Australia to the Northern Territory if you’re looking to explore the North of Australia. There are a number of tours you can take from Darwin including exploring the famous Kakadu National Park or even the incredible Uluru.
