Day 1

Perth to Pinnacles

We head north and stop along the way for a quick lunch. Enjoy the impressive views along Indian Ocean drive and then explore the pinnacles desert. A short drive brings us to our picturesque beach side camp site where we kick back for the night. 

Day 2

Geraldton and Pink Lake

Before lunch we visit Geraldton foreshore and museums then head to the beautiful Pink Lake for some  photo opportunities. The campsite is at the lucky bay, walk the sand dunes or swim as the sun goes down. There is plenty of space at the campsite so time to turn the music and let your hair down for the night.

Day 3 

Kalbarri National Park

Enjoy the scenic kalbarri cliffs before a quick swim and cold shower at the river mouth. Then explore the amazing Kalbarri National Park with a few hours of hiking to Nature’s Window and the Z Bend. In the late afternoon we travel to the overnight stop by the river.

Day 4

Shark Bay

We drive into the World Heritage site of Shark Bay and is in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The 2,200,902-hectare area is located approximately 800 kilometers north of Perth, on the westernmost point of the Australian continent.

Check out Shell Beach, relax and swim in the crystal clear water. After lunch we drive into the town of Denham followed by a stop at the Lagoon for a game of ultimate frisbee or cricket (group dependant). It’s now time for a bit of luxury as we setup camp at the Monkey Mia Dolphin resort. After dinner and an amazing sunset you can head down to the jetty and spot wildlife with your torch or kick back on the grass around the campsite.

The Attractions at Shark Bay include

Monkey Mia dolphin reserve, shell beach, steep point, ocean park aquarium,   Shark Bay world heritage discovery and visitor centre, Shark Bay marine park, Cape peron, Eagle bluff lookout and Useless loop western Australia.

Day 5 – Monkey Mia, Dolphins & Carnarvon

Wake up and walk 50 m to the water’s edge. It’s time to meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins, if you are lucky you will get to feed flipper his scaly breakfast! There is now a few free hours to explore swim or rent a kayak. The campsite at Carnarvon is a short drive north.

Day 6 – Coral Bay

We arrive in coral bay mid- morning and set up camp. There are now essentially two free days to explore, Snorkel the amazing reef, (Optional Fishing charter, diving, whale shark tours) or just sit with your new friends on the beach and enjoy this special place. Usually things will kickoff pretty early and by late afternoon everyone is ready to blow off some steam and party. The campsite is 5 min walk from the beach and everything else in town. 

Day 7 – Coral Bay

Extra day in coral bay you can really see the reef at its finest, only meters from the beach are huge coral formations and large fish. If you are lucky you might swim alongside a turtle or friendly reef shark. (Optional Fishing charter, diving, Manta Ray Tours, whale shark tours)

Day 8 – Exmouth Surfing

With the right weather conditions we can enjoy the Exmouth town beach and enjoy some water sports. Take a jetski out and see dolphins and whales (in season) go tubing behind the jetskis for a wild adrenaline rush or just relax on the beach. In the afternoon we have the option to rent a surfboard or do a lesson ($25, $50) our campsite tonight can vary depending on what the group feels, in town or by the beach.

Day 9 – Cape Range National park, Whale Sharks, Ningaloo Reef

We travel to the Cape Range National Park and Hike Mandu Mandu gorge then snorkel at the award winning Turquoise Bay. This evening watch the sunset at the historic Vlaming Lighthouse. Option Whale Sharks. 

Day 10 – Exmouth to Tom Price

Travel inland to the red earthed heart of the Pilbara. Keep an eye out the window for wildlife and maybe even a cheeky dingo. This evening check into Karijini Eco Retreat and stay in Glamping Tents with Bunks.

Day 11 – Karijini National Park: Day 1

Explore Knox gorge, Hancock Gorge and hike down into Kermits Pool for a refreshing swim. Then walk Weano Gorge and visit Handrail Pool. We also check out Oxers, Junction Pool & Jofre lookouts.

Day 12 – Karijini National Park: Day 2

We head to Dales Gorge and swim at the picturesque Fern Pool. Then check out Fortesque Falls. Now travel  1.5 km through Dales Gorge to Circular Pool for a swim. This afternoon take the Integrity Coach bus to Port Headland and break until 1.30 am when you will travel over night to Broome.

Day 13 – Broome

Sleep on the coach and arrive in Broome by 8.15 am.
