Hillarys Boat Harbour is a marina and tourist precinct located in Hillarys, north of Perth, Western Australia and on the Indian Ocean.

Join the Hillarys Walking Group every Friday Night. Meet at 6.15pm sharp outside Kebabulous Kebab Shop near the Taxi Rank outside the south side main entrance to Hillarys Marina, next to the car park. Start walking at 6.30pm sharp on the footpath south to Waterman’s Bay and return to Hillarys Marina for optional Dinner/Drinks/Coffees. Distance is 3km each way, 6kms total. Walk is at an easy pace. Please wear good walking shoes and bring water, jacket and torch.

Cost: Free and all welcome. Children supervised by adults are most welcome. Smokers please walk away when necessary.

Santa’s Grotto Cupcake Decorating Class will be held in December. Adults are invited to purchase a ticket to participate in the festivities if they would like to have their own batch of cupcakes to decorate.

Everything is taken care of. Make your own cupcake toppers with four baked cupcakes, buttercream or frosting, and fondant. Also included are all the necessary tools and equipment, edible paint, and more. Take comfort in knowing that you will get step-by-step instructions on how to take your box of cupcake masterpieces home.

Please keep in mind that if you have children under six, adult help and supervision will be necessary (no ticket required for assisting your child). If you want to stay and watch your kids make their very own masterpieces, there is no need to purchase a ticket.

Yellagonga Regional Park is in Perth, Western Australia, in the City of Wanneroo and the City of Joondalup. The park was established in 1989 by the Western Australian government and protects 1,400 hectares (3,500 acres) of land, including 550 hectares (1,400 acres) of Wanneroo wetlands – including Lake Joondalup, Beenup Swamp, Walluburnup Swamp and Lake Goollelal.

Visit the Hillarys Boat Harbour

Hillarys Boat Harbour provides plenty of day and night life fun, from a sheltered beach, the Aquarium of WA (with claims to Australia’s largest aquarium) to water sports, shopping and fine dining. You can go on boat cruises, Jet Ski, go on a helicopter ride, dive, and jet board or even go deep sea fishing. You’ll also find plenty of cocktail bars, shops and ritzy restaurants to enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation.

Hillarys is also a pretty good gateway to Rottnest Island. You could catch a ferry from Hillarys, head towards ‘Rotto’, have a bite to eat, take in the sunset at the beach and return back to the mainland on the same day.

Go Snorkeling at the Marmion Marine Park

A veritable diver’s haven, the Marmion Marine Park is home to a vibrant array of marine creatures. The lagoon’s shallow waters are scattered with ledges, caves and swim-throughs, where sea creatures roam freely. Keen divers can go to Boyinaboat Reef, located just 75 meters from Hillarys Boat Harbour or snorkel closer to the shore in Mettams Pool. If you are into scuba diving, take a boat and your gear to dive deep into the submerged reefs of Wreck Rock, Wanneroo Reef or North Lump. Kite and windsurfing as well as boating are other popular activities at the Marine Park.
