working holiday visa for Australia
When is the working holiday visa for Australia being increased to 35? There is currently talk of the age of the working holiday visa being increased to 35 but nothing has been done as yet: www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa-1/417-
For selected partner countries the working holiday visa limit may be increased to 35, this has now been a topic of conversation for over a year and still no decisions have been made so in brief, don’t hold your breath or count on this if you really want to work and live in Australia.

The best bet you have right now will be to;

  • find an employer who will sponsor you (not easy) but not impossible
  • If you can match a occupation on the new skilled occupation list: you may be eligible for a state sponsorship or the skilled migration program.
In order to also secure sponsorship by an Australian employer, you’re occupation will need to be on the MTTSSL or STSOL lists.
Keep checking back for more information and updates over the coming weeks.
As soon as we know more, we’ll publish a news update on our  Migrate to Australia page.
