10-Day West Coast Safari

On this adventure group tour with Kimberley Wild, you make your way from Broome and down the west coast to the state capital of Perth, stopping in the major travel hotspots and experiencing the amazing activities of Western Australia over 10 days.
Travelling south, you leave the outback town of Broome and cross the Great Sandy Desert to the white sands of Eighty Mile Beach, before stopping in Port Hedland for your first night around a campfire in the Pilbara Region. Prepare for all kinds of excitement on the following day as you head to Karijini National Park. A remote but outstanding area, you’ll spend three days here swimming beneath waterfalls, exploring the rocky terrain and capturing incredible views of one of the oldest landscapes on earth. You’ll be able to head inside a number of gorges including Weano Gorge and Hancock Gorge, before you camp in the park under the stars.

After an incredible adventure in the Karijini, you’ll travel through bushland to Exmouth and camp at Yardie Creek Station, where you’ll be met with a bar, beautiful sunset and local kangaroos. The next day you’re free to relax, go snorkelling, swim with whale sharks (in season) and lay about in the crystal clear waters of Turquoise Bay. On the sixth day, you’ll get to visit Coral Bay and discover the underwater delights of the famous Ningaloo Reef.
Come day eight, you’ll leave this coastal paradise for another, as you head further south through Carnarvon and stopping at Shell Beach and Monkey Mia, where you can meet the wild bottlenose dolphins that come up to shore to greet guests. On the morning of day nine, you’ll be able to say hello to your new friends, and then explore more of the Shark Bay World Heritage Area where Monkey Mia lies. In the afternoon, you make your way to Kalbarri National Park, and if there’s time, check out the view from Natures Window before settling down for the night in this seaside town.

Your tour ends with the final drive down the coast, stopping at the Pinnacles Desert to check out the sandstone formations that jut out of the ground, and finishing in Perth in the early evening.
