29th Apartment  is a unique bar that resembles a New York styled apartment. It is inspired by lady of the night, Katishe, a tortuous, struggling artist who mysteriously disappeared in the 80’s.

29th Apartment Katishe walked the streets at night and would take clients back to her apartment where they would marvel at all her abstract paintings that adorned the walls. Infatuated by underground street art, most of Katishe’s paintings tell stories from the streets of NYC,
the city that never sleeps.

This local favorite is the melting pot of pop culture and it is all about the look. The entire inside is fashioned as an actual apartment – with couches, board games, a wall TV, fish tank, tables made out of barbecues, ironing boards, and even a bed at the far end of the
joint. 29th Apartment has a funky, eclectic design. The art on the walls is underground and abstract and walls are decorated with decals and trinkets, like a real home. 29th Apartment has a great atmosphere that literally makes you feel like you’re hanging at
a friends house, except this house comes complete with a drink menu, foosball table, pinball machine, a bed and no noise policy.
