Mt Tamborine Sky Walk

Just under an hour’s drive from the Gold Coast, venture to Mt Tamborine to explore the rainforest in all its glory. Here you can walk through the treetops on the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk which is 1.5km in length. As you wind through the canopy you’ll be able to view the breathtaking vista of the rainforest from a new perspective.

Cedar Creek Vineyard and Winery

A day trip to this vineyard is a must as you leave the Gold Coast behind for the day. A simple drive to North Tamborine from the city and you’ll get to this charming vineyard to feast on some of the best food in the area and sample an impressive range of wines from the varietal tastes of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Chardonnay or Shiraz to the sweeter styles of Rose, Moscato, Ports, Liqueur Muscat and Dessert Wines.

Treetop Challenge

For all those active adrenaline junkies out there, you can have an excellent day out as you take on the 100 plus Tree Top challenges. From zip-lining to the Tarzan swing and climbing through nets and barrels anywhere from 2m – 20m off of the ground through unspoilt bush land.

Palm Beach Reef

Situated on the Gold Coast, enjoy a day out snorkelling or diving on this large reef full of soft corals and sponges. Here you’re likely to spot hammerhead sharks, bronze whalers, wobbegongs, leopard shark, blue wrasse, and painted wrasse as you make your way through this magical waterworld…

Dolphin Feeding on Moreton Island

Just under four hours away from the Gold Coast, you can visit Moreton Island where you’ll find Moreton Bay. The Bay is home to approximately 600 bottlenose dolphins and each night pods will visit the shores of Tangalooma Island Resort. The dolphins have been visiting for over 30 years, and each night you can have the chance to hand-feed them a small amount of fish as they come up for their nightly visit to the beach.
