Within the 12th century abbey hotel and winery of Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine, El Santuario makes great use of its setting to provide a relaxing spa break with a difference. Across 10,000 square feet, the spa pampers its guests with treatment rooms, a Spa Suite, an indoor and outdoor heated pool, and ladies and men’s wellness areas with a sauna, steam baths, showers, hydrotherapy pool, relaxation room and changing areas in each. Guests can also be assured that El Santuario is sustainable and energy efficient. Efforts to reduce its carbon footprint include solar panels, groundwater pumps, geothermal storage systems and a water-treatment plant to recycle water.
