After Dark Social Club will be a winter wonder land like no other, with Deacon Rose leading the electronic Dance for the night.

This often unkempt long-haired breed can often be found frequenting pubs during the week that offer cheap steaks and parmas and on weekends is often seen in dark corners of nightclubs or kebab stands. Predominantly nocturnal, this species is very sluggish in the morning hours and is almost capable of sleeping while standing up, like cows.

We’re talking about the one and only Deacon Rose. As a key part of the Triple J gaggle, Deacon Rose has helped introduce some of the freshest music to Australia’s best radio station as well as to nightclubs and festivals Australia wide.

As a music fiend, Deacon Rose feeds mainly on bass heavy tunage including dubstep, UK funky and drum’n’bass. But is often digesting house, disco, indie and hip hop. Deacon Rose also has an innate predisposition to cowbell. And cheese, on everything.
