Alex Metric Releases Video for “End Of The World” AND Launches Remix Competition

2011 has been an incredible year for Alex Metric. In March he released the brilliant single “Open Your Eyes” which featured Swedish House Mafia heavyweight Steve Angello and The Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown. In August he followed this with the release of his debut compilation album “Open Your Eyes (Remixes and Productions)” featuring Alex’s hit remixes of the likes of: Gorillaz, La Roux, NERD, Bloc Party, Phoenix, Depeche Mode and Beastie Boys. The album also included the artist single “End Of The World” featuring upcoming UK singer Charli XCX.

2012 is shaping up to be bigger and better for the multi-talented remixer, producer and artist, with hotly anticipated new material coming in the new year. Alex will also be heading to Australia to perform on the national 2012 Future Music Festival.

To round off 2011 and follow up on the massive video for “Open Your Eyes”, that starred comedy legend Peter Serafinowicz, Alex has released a brand new visual accompaniment to “End Of The World”.

Calling all budding remixers, producers and DJs! Alex Metric, in association with SoundCloud, has launched a competition to find the best remix for his epic single, “End Of The World”.
