Amy Winehouse: For You I Was A Flame Exhibition – Thursday 12th September to Sunday 6th October 2013
Amy Winehouse: For You I Was A Flame will be an exhibition curated by the Amy Winehouse Foundation (with the support of Amy’s family) ahead of what would have been the late star’s 30th birthday.
Presented by Proud Camden, the exhibition will be the start of a month of events entitled #Amys30 taking place in Camden throughout September in support of the Foundation, raising awareness of the great work being achieved in her name, and to celebrate Amy’s life and career.
Amy Winehouse: For You I Was A Flame will consist of specially chosen works that were significant to her life and career, such as a range of paintings and drawings donated by the Winehouse family.
Photographs of both unseen and iconic images of Amy will be displayed alongside works donated by graffiti artists Mr Brainwash and Bambi, as well as a Gerald Laing piece from Amy’s own collection.
