Argy Announce His Debut Australian Tour
The Berlin-based deep and tech house producer, Argy, has announced his Australian debut tour for later this month.
For the past decade, Argy AKA Argyris Theofilis have managed to secure his position as a prominent figure in the house world despite the ever-changing music environment around him. Championed by the likes of Luciano from his very first release, ‘Love Dose‘ on Steve Bug’s Poker Flat Records, his productions have been signed to some of the globe’s biggest labels including elite players like Cocoon, Objektivity, Ibadan, and Defected.
The Greek producer has become a regular booking across European dancefloors (think Panorama Bar, Amnesia, Space, Destino, Pacha and Sankeys), and he has also been part of a collaborative studio project with New York DJs The Martinez Brothers which also saw them join forces for joint club night ventures. Also part of his portfolio is his record label These Days, which has released productions from artists such as DJ Duke, The Martinez Brothers, Stephen Brown, Radio Slave, Beat Pharmacy, Jerome Sydenham and more. No doubt Argy keeps busy…
Off the back of his ‘Chronographic’ compilation release last month (which featured over 25 Argy productions and remixes, and also saw all sale proceeds from the compilation going to an LGBT shelter in New York City), it’s finally time for Australia to witness the magic of Argy. Beginning the weekend at Melbourne’s infamous Revolver Bandroom on Friday 24th June, he will kick on at The Greenwood Hotel in Sydney on the 25th.
