Australia Festival Music There are more than a few weird and wonderful festivals hidden in the bush around Australia, you just have to keep your eyes peeled for crazy colours and blaring beats…oh and drop bears…

Here is 3 of our ‘must sees’ over the next few months:

Australia Festival Music Dragon Dreaming

Hidden in the middle of ‘whoop-whoop’ where you definitely wont be getting any noise complaints (or restrictions), Dragon Dreaming is a colourful burst of energy and live music set upon the lush wild lands of Wee Jasper (80km north of Canberra).

You have 4 days to soak up the sonically immersive performances from artists and DJ’s all across the country (and some internationals) as well as a sprinkling of art installations and outdoor cinema to be found across the festival grounds.

Where: Wee Jasper, NSW
When: October 21-24

Mullum Music Festival

Mullumbimby is a sleepy little country town 15 minutes from Byron Bay and nestled against the coastal town of brunswick heads, this festival is a real celebration of local music and supporting the community.

In 4 days you will be able to soak up the culture of one of the grooviest little towns in Australia and have unlimited access to some of the best beaches in the world just 15 minutes away, not to mention the amazing live music.

Where: Mullumbimby, NSW
When: November 17 -20

Earthcore

Earthcore is more or less the epic monster of Australia’s underground deep house, progressive and psytrance scene, from small farm parties with 200+ people to medium sized events such as Dragon Dreaming, Earthcore attracts more than sits at the top as the big momma.

Earthcore has embodied the ‘bush party’ or ‘doof’ scene since 1993 with its first event attracting just 180 people, the 2000 New Years Eve party boasted a healthy attendance of 45,000 music loving individuals.

Where: Pyalong, VIC
When: November 24 – 28
