Stay overnight at the Saphaipae Hostel or the Link Corner Hostel, both of which are close to the metro providing transport around the local areas. Take the Skytrain to The Grand Palace and the Wat Phra Kaeo, which contains the magnificent Emerald Buddha.
If you want to get out of the city to explore the rural landscapes then head to Chiang Mai, which is full of quaint markets and restaurants. You can fill your days with amazing adventure sport experiences including zip lining and zorbing. Stay at the Baan Khun Hostel which is air conditioned and modern before going for breakfast at the bizarre Cat Cafe. You could also take a cookery course, for example the one at Thai Orchard Cookery School, which allows you to learn some new skills and try some delicacies. It’ll be a great way of wowing your friends when hosting dinner parties upon your return home.
Before heading home it is essential that you experience some of what the various Thai islands have to offer. Ko Chang is a worthwhile visit and you will feel completely secluded in one of the many cheap huts dotted around the picturesque island. With the occasional fall of rain there, which sometimes puts people off, it is a tranquil retreat away from the real world.
However, if you want more of a party atmosphere, then try Koh Phangan, which is renowned for its wild full moon parties. Thailand is already a popular choice with many backpackers and many travellers choose to return again and again. Take on the journey and discover for yourself!
