Balance Presents Fur Coat

With no denying that their sound encompasses every ingredient in the current appetite of electronic music, Fur Coat is an easy choice to curate the latest Balance Presents series.

As South America’s most promising act, the Venezuelan-born duo have worked their way up the ranks into the global sphere, winning over fans far and wide. Attesting to releases on Damian Lazarus’ label Crosstown Rebels, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Creations and DJ T’s Get Physical, they have the ability to seamlessly blend of the organic and electronic.

Last year was a massive year for the duo, who released three landmark EPs on Hot Creations, Ellen Allien’s legendary Berlin imprint Bpitch Control and Crosstown Rebels. Fur Coat found themselves sitting at #66 in Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs poll last year and is something they are not taking lightly.

They now step up to the plate to deliver a compilation for the highly esteemed Balance Presents series. Featuring Fur Coat favourite ‘U Turn’, among tracks like Âme’s remix of ‘Akabu’, and Radio Slave’s Innervision remix of ‘Caballero’, this mix is set to cement them as a force to be reckoned with.
