Band Of The Week: New Politics

Follow us on Google News

Late Night fans may recognise them from commercials for The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. You may have seen them open for Fall Out Boy on their Save Rock And Roll tour. Either way, you will know who these Danish Rockers are; they’re going to explode.

Driven by high energy, blaring guitars, and Dance-Rock influenced sound, their influences range from Green Day to Pixies. Lead singer David Boyd runs all around the stage and doesn’t let arenas or stadiums swallow him or band mates Søren Hansen or Louis Vecchio (although he’s American, not Danish). New Politics are definitely a band that you need to put on your list to see this year.

It really isn’t any wonder why they’ve supported acts like Fall Out Boy, P!nk, 30 Seconds To Mars, and they’ll be continuing to make their mark when they support Paramore on tour this year.
