A singer-songwriter of the highest calibre, Ben Howard is the man with the easy-listening voice strumming on a guitar, perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon. While he shies away from the harshness of the spotlight, he doesn’t deny us a live show, so we can enjoy an Australian tour prior to his appearance at Bluesfest on 2nd April.
On the I Forgot Where We Were Tour, Howard will not only play to a sold-out crowd at the Sydney Opera House, but also take to the stage at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena, Fremantle’s Arts Centre, and the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.
Whether you discovered the sound of Ben Howard with his debut EP, ‘Games In The Dark’, back in 2008, or fell in love with his first album, the Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello-nominated ‘Every Kingdom’, in 2011, he has offered us consistently first-rate material. Accolades including British Breakthrough Act and British Solo Male Artist at the 2013 BRIT Awards quickly cemented him as the leading male singer of his generation. With ‘I Forgot Where We Were’ released in October 2014, Howard returned with more melancholic musings, delicious vocals and chill-out tunes.
