BerkofestBerkhamstead now has it’s own festival. Berkofest has got a full list of confirmed acts for Berkhamstead very first festival Designed to bring a genuine mix of quality music and comedy to people in and around the Berkhamsted area, this is a ‘must date’ for diaries.

BerkoFest aims to bring together naturally talented musicians and comedians for the enjoyment of everyone, whilst being able to contribute monies to local organisations.

Confirmed acts so far:

Seth Lakeman
The English folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with raw talent. His recent album “Tales from the Barrel House” was released in April 2012.

Showaddywaddy
Worldly renowned for their retro-inspired rock & roll, and ‘truly live and kicking’performances.Glenn Tilbrook
Part of the successful band “Squeeze”, a superb singer-songwriter who immerses music with the audience by regularly performing requests; encourages a relaxed and impromptu performance.

Rowland Rivron
The main stage compare. Rowland, a charismatic British comedian and musician who recently won the ‘Let’s Dance for Sport Relief’ title with a lively routine performed to Fatboy Slim’s Weapon of Choice. Berkofest is honoured to have him
host the main stage.

The Crookes
The indie band from Sheffield with musical genius and flare. Highly rated amongst the student crowd for their fresh approach to music.

Mitch Benn
Comparing for BerkoFest with his hilarious stand-up comedy, famous for his “humorous” songs performed on BBC radio.

Local musicians who are set to amaze the audiences include: Shane Lamont(hosting the ‘Open Mic’ stage), Tom Billington and the talented young musician Henry Parker.

With known artists along with local musicians and comedians, the array of talent is set to excite and bring BerkoFest alight!

But it’s not just music and comedyfamilies will be very much catered for as BerkoFest has arranged an interesting mix of children’s entertainment and parent pampering.

The Panic Circus will be a family- friendly, traditional (minus the animals!) circus with a varied programme of fun performances, workshops and activities.

For a relaxing time out, BerkoFest has organised a team of professional therapists who specialise in luxury treatments to indulge your mind, body and wellbeing. Ideal for some mellow space away from the hubbub of activity going on elsewhere.
