Mr P.P.’s Deli & Rooftop
43 Nerang Street, Southport, 4215 QLD, 07 5634 9587
http://www.mrpp.com.au/
Should you happen to find yourself towards the Northern end of the Gold Coast, then, Mr. P. P.’s Deli & Rooftop is about the best that it can get. Just below the rooftop and hidden under the guise of a deli is a cozy bar which offers the perfect setting for some socializing. Among the walk-ins include the office crowd of the local Central Business District who come here to enjoy a sundown on the rooftop. However, in reality Mr. P.P.’s Deli came into being as a pure labour of love for preservation. In a bid to restore a forgotten historical building, as well as pay homage to an old post master Mr. P.P. – the Deli and rooftop bar took shape. Its invigorating energy of modern swag is bringing generations together over delightful cocktails and enlightening them on a bit of history, too.
Last Night On Earth
50b Nerang St, Southport,Gold Coast, Queensland 4215
https://www.facebook.com/lastnightonearthbar/
This little watering hole in South Port is perhaps more popular for its fun filled trivia nights than it is for anything else. However, its evenings often begin with some awesome craft beers and live acoustic music. On certain days there are competitive board game nights giving locals a chance to mingle with neighbours and a reason to get up to some cheeky antics. Once known as ‘Not Tonight’ has been revived as Last Night on Earth with a whole new look.
Fisherman’s Wharf

60-70 Seaworld Dr, Main Beach QLD 4217, Australia
Any Main Beach resident worth their salt has at some point found themselves a little inebriated at the legendary drinking hole of the ‘Fishos’ – or rather the Fisherman’s Wharf. However, it has been many sunsets past, for locals since its glory days, that is, until now. With an all new look to boot the legend is set to begin again. The Wharf without a doubt occupies the best location in Main Beach, visit with friends or family and make it a point to dine on the deck. The look and feel maybe knew but the warmth of its traditional ways still remains.
