Best of the Brits at the Sydney Comedy Festival

The Sydney Comedy Festival runs from April 22nd to May 19th to get the best British comedians ready to rumble in Sydney. As in the previous years, the key venues for Sydney Comedy Festival are the Enmore and Factory Theatres (Newtown/Marrickville), the Comedy Store (Entertainment Quarter) and The Concourse (Chatswood) all of which will showcase some of the best comedians.

Daniel Sloss (UK)

Daniel Sloss is a comedian who is “dirty, sweet and clever”; performing his show “X” is his 10th solo show and if you’ve not seen him live before, it’s time to find out why he is fast becoming one of the world’s biggest names in comedy. Catch him at The Concourse Fri 26th Apr 2019 – 7:00 pm & at the Enmore Theatre on the Sat 27th Apr 2019 – 4:30 pm & 7.00 pm; tickets priced at $37.00.

Mark Watson (UK)

This British comedian has a cupboard full of UK awards, has a famously high joke-rate and a lightning-fast metabolism makes his long-awaited return to Sydney. This year he will be performing at the Factory Theatre; from the 23rd & 24th Apr 2019 from 9:00 pm onwards. Tickets are priced between $32.15 – $35.20 for the “Infinite show” featuring the British Comedian Mark Watson.

Stephen K Amos (UK)

Stephen K Amos returns to Sydney with a show looking back on his last 10 years “The story so Far”. An evening of brilliant favourites, classics and new material brings his sometimes cynical, always witty and feel-good comedy to Sydney. See Stephen performing at the Enmore Theatre on Sat 4th May 2019 – 7:15 pm and The Concourse on Sun 5th May 2019 – 7:15 pm; tickets are priced at $42.00 – $49.90

Alfie Brown (UK)

Fresh from a complete sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, this British comedian is coming to his first Sydney Comedy Festival and he remains charming and funny as usual. His new show “Lunatic” is about identity politics, trying to be a good father in a horrible world. He provides no answers, only questions. This year Alfie Brown will be performing the Factory Theatre from 8th to 12th May 2019 from 9:30 pm onwards, with tickets priced between $25.00 – $30.00.

Ross Noble (UK)

See Ross Noble at the Sydney performing his show “Humournoid” Brilliantly inventive, quirky stand-up watch him and marvel at the Enmore Theatre on the Thu 9th & 10th May 2019 – 7:30 pm & at The Concourse on Sat 11th May 2019 – 7:30 pm onwards; tickets are priced at $46.90 – $49.90.

Emma Malik (UK)

Emma is a British comedian touring Sydney her solo show “If You Can’t Train It, Eat It” introduces audience interactions, high energy and of course her many-legged co-stars. Emma has been training animals professionally for over a decade. That is until she tried stand-up comedy, a “one-off” gig which turned into a career. See Emma performing at the Factory Theatre from the 16th, 18th May 2019 – 7:00 pm & 19th May from 6.00 pm onwards tickets are priced at $29.10.
