Borderless Returns to London for 2017 Edition
Back for a second year, Borderless will be hosting some seriously exciting musicians in south London for a celebration of alternative music.
The programme is the brainchild of Roundhouse music programmers GOAT music, who have been pioneering the show’s return to south London’s Battersea Arts Centre. From May 4th, expect to hear homegrown UK talent as well as artists from across the globe.
Across the month, you can expect to hear a range of sounds from electronic Neo-soul from Fatima & The Eglo Live Band, jazz from Sowero Kinch, electronica from Kate Simko and London Electric Orchestra as well as a dose of R&B from Jodie Abacus. Also on the line up are London-based jazz and funk band as well as reggae and afrobeat musicians Soothsayers.
Battersea is a fantastic setting for the series of gigs, with its intimate feel combined with the venue’s grand marble stairs and wood panelled walls. There is an onsite bar for those who some lubrication for their dance moves too.
