Business As Usual At The Great Britain Hotel

Richmond’s Great Britain Hotel may be gaining new management but everything else is staying the same. The GB, as it’s more affectionately known, has regular live music events featuring up-and-comers on the Melbourne music scene.

The Melbourne Venue Company will be taking over management of the venue in July 2014 but want to reassure the locals that nothing will change. “Why mess with a good thing?” says the company’s CEO, Michael Thiele. The only thing the new management wish to change is the standard of the bathrooms – which can only be a good thing!

Music lovers of Melbourne fear not – the Great Britain Hotel will still have live music nights at least three nights per week.
