Legendary in the drum & bass world, renowned in the global electronic scene and a leading light in the multi-genre bass music movement, Ram Records is without doubt one of the leading independent record labels in dance music today. With label bosses Andy C and Scott Bourne at the helm, Ram has been involved in the careers of countless artists including Chase & Status, Sub Focus, DJ Fresh and so many more, spanning Ram’s twenty years of British music history. This week Ram Records is ready to announce two brand new signings who join the hallowed ranks of this incredible label.

First to join the camp are Calyx & TeeBee. Those familiar to drum & bass will already know that these two producers are synonymous with high quality, perfectly sculpted music that has had an impact on the D&B scene for over fifteen years. Having released their debut album ‘Anatomy’ over five years ago, the duo are now set to unveil the kaleidoscopic array of new music that they have been building up since that time. Embracing the new possibilities that the bass music revolution has opened up, Calyx & TeeBee’s sophomore album is now set for release on Ram Records, and is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated follow-ups in D&B history.

As if that wasn’t already huge news, Ram has also signed Rene LaVice, a DJ, producer and film maker based in Toronto, Canada. Rene has signed an exclusive record deal with Ram Records that will see them push his talent to untold heights. While to many he may be a new name, Rene LaVice is without doubt one of the hottest drum & bass producers in the North American scene. Thanks to his immense track on the ‘Dimensions 5′ EP, ‘Headlock,’ Rene LaVice has already caught the attentions of BBC luminaries such as Nick Grimshaw, Crissy Criss and Bailey and this exclusive signing guarantees his music a place in the drum & bass history books.

While no one can deny a legendary imprint like Ram’s history, it takes a very special record label to keep on top of the game for twenty years. Taken on the last year’s output alone Ram Records has proven their ability to stay fresh and current, always pushing the best artists the drum & bass scene has to offer. These two signings are yet another example of Ram’s continued commitment to bringing you the very best D&B and bass music from the most stimulating talent around and undeniably secure them their place as one of the most exciting leading independent labels in dance music today.
