Campfire Festival 2015
A festival of music first and foremost, Campfire Festival offers more than ever in 2015.
Set in the beauty of the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Hope Estate Winery welcomes you to relax with friends for three days, as an array of country and folk music entertainers perform from Friday 13th – Sunday 15th March.
This year, Campfire Festival presents Australian band John Butler Trio, NSW sister trio The McClymonts, songbird duo We Two Thieves and The Bob Corbett Band led by – you guessed it – Bob Corbett. Country singer-songwriter, Lee Kernaghan is also added to the line-up, alongside fellow artists Kelly Chambers, Beccy Cole and Greg Champion. Melbourne’s Ash Grunwald will bring some blues to the festival with a strong reputation in live performance.
Music aside, there’s plenty of festival activities at Campfire, including the famous Campfire Zone itself. The lakeside area will hold artisan markets, exhibitions and cooking demonstrations through the day, and music and dancing will take place come nightfall with an indigenous theme. If you’re particularly passionate about music, Camper’s Bar will hold songwriter’s sessions, guitar clinics, Q&A with artists and jamming sessions for three hours after the main amphitheatre closes for the day. And of course, there’ll be plenty of food and drink available from the winery and craft brewery on site.
Camping is available on-site for convenient access to the stages for 5,000 people, and new for 2015 is the luxury camping option in the five-star Lakeside Flashcamp. There are a variety of ticket options, with day passes at $89pp, three day pass at $199pp, and the VIP three-day pass for $499pp.
With the surroundings of Hope Estate as the beautiful backdrop and authentic entertainment for a full weekend, Campfire Festival is the event to close the summer season, so get your ticket now at campfirefestival.com.au.
