Can’t Help Myself By The Luka State
The Luka State are renowned for their youthful high energy, epic guitars and addictive synth lines, and now they have produced a single that will wake up the rock scene.
2015 has already been a blessing for Cheshire indie-rockers, The Luka State, who have now returned with another single entitled ‘Can’t Help Myself’ to be released 8th June. Already owning airtime and being featured as track of the week on numerous radio stations, the single has been taken from the band’s debut seven-track mini album ‘The Price Of Education’, also coming out 8th June 2015.
The video for ‘Can’t Help Myself’ was shot underwater with the band playing their instruments while submerged in a large tank and cameras positioned outside. Lead singer, Conrad Ellis, sang underwater, which was no doubt a challenge for the band, but after many takes they have produced a unique video for the incredible single.
Mixed by acclaimed producer Chris Sheldon, who has worked with the likes of Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters and Feeder, ‘Can’t Help Myself’ is an example of great indie rock, with hardcore drums and striking guitars all overlaid with Ellis’ faultless vocals.
The Luka State have played self-funded tours all over the UK, North America and Europe, and now go on to release a rock solid album.
