Carl Craig Announce OZ and NZ Dates
Considered Detroit’s top techno producer, Carl Craig will return to Australia this summer.
Spinning at some of the biggest venues around the globe, the American-based producer has played to millions of punters over the course of his career, and he is undoubtedly one of the first to pioneer the fusion of techno, jazz, soul and experimental sounds.
Carl Craig’s earlier releases in the early 90’s reflect a wild variety, demonstrating his interest in experimentation. Having released almost 20 albums throughout his extensive career, Carl Craig has also recently developed his unique sound through experimentation with classical pianists and orchestral conductors.
Not only a label owner, collaborator, a world-class DJ and an esteemed Grammy-nominated composer, Carl Craig stays strong to his Detroit roots: he helped launch Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2001 – and to this day he remains a strong force at the festival.
This techno kingpin will continue to wow his audiences as he returns to Australia this November. Check out his latest studio album, ‘Versus’ for a preview of what Carl Craig will showcase to Australian audiences for the first time.
