Carrera Ignition Night

BBM Live received an invite to the Carrera Ignition Night on Thursday 20th June 2013, and, of course, we attended!

Carrera – belonging to the Safilo group – was originally founded in 1956 and designs sunglasses and sports eyewear.

The swish event was held at The House of St. Barnabas in Soho, London and was to celebrate the long history of the brand.

Showcased in Perspex boxes and on beautiful models were Carrera frames through the ages, from the over-sized aviators of the 50s to the recent Summer 2013 Collection.

There was plenty of music and refreshments, with DJ sets from Nick Grimshaw, Pixie Geldof and Amber Le Bon.

The guestlist was full of equally famously faces, such as Henry Holland, Jamie Campbell Bower, Lily Allen and – be still our beating hearts – Mr. David Gandy.

So a very good night, indeed!
