Bower Healthcare are looking to fill casual home care jobs in Sydney.

You will be required to work in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire area.

The role:

• A variety of services from companionship to high care needs
• Emergency cover plus longer term, regular clients
• Support provided from within a small, friendly team
• On-going training opportunities
• We also have mental health chaperoning assignments quite regularly

Skill requirements:

• Not only must staff possess the appropriate skills to be able to efficiently perform their duties, they must also have the right values, personality and commitment to ensure the needs of their clients are consistently being met. Before we will accept anyone onto our books, all applicants must be able to demonstrate appropriate experience, skills and training.
• 6 months recent practical experience in a relevant, local work environment (e.g. in-home care, nursing or group home, hospital, etc)
• Current work rights in Australia
• 2 employment or study related references
• Your own transport with current NSW driver licence and fully comprehensive insurance (preferred)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Certificate III (Aged Care, Home & Community Care or Disability)
• Current Manual Handling & First Aid Certificates
• Additional language skills advantageous
