Get 10% Off Travel In 3 Central American Countries Over 3 Months
Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua are all amazing Central American countries with their fare share of wildlife, stunning landscapes and opportunity for outdoor activities. Costa Rica offers some of the best surfing spots in the world and incomparable routes for hiking in the rainforest. Panama’s crystal-clear water is perfect for scuba diving and the Archipelago of Bocas del Toro is ideal to sea kayak between islands. Practicing your Spanish and intercultural competence in Nicaragua will sharpen these important skills and allow you to get an image of Central American culture as a whole.
Water Activities & Qualifications
Not only can you do all these things in only three months, but also we offer a Semester Program in which you will accomplish all this while engaging in outdoor and water activities every day. Participants learn surfing, rafting and scuba diving and get the chance to earn several professional certifications that will allow them to work anywhere in the world, including:
- Wilderness Advanced First Aid (Outward Bound Costa Rica)
- Whitewater Rescue Technician (Rescue 3 International)
- Scuba Diver Certification (National Association of Underwater Instructors)
- Waterfront Lifeguarding (American Red Cross)
Learning the Culture
To make the course more authentic, participants will also live with homestay families which will teach them how to cook traditional meals and converse with them in Spanish. To share with others this amazing opportunity and our love of Central America, impactful service projects have been integrated into the program.
