Charlotte de Witte Announce Huge Oz Tour
Charlotte de Witte’s return to Australia and New Zealand debut was just announced.
Currently on top of the techno world, de Witte has been awing the masses with her minimalist, deep and dark style for a short but powerful length of time. Scoring main stage festival slots which include appearances at Awakenings and Sónar, Charlotte already has one foot firmly placed in the realm of the world’s DJ elite – and there’s little wonder why.
A radio show host, events promoter and producer to boot, Charlotte has written some outstanding music which includes bomb-tracks ‘Closer’, ‘This’ as well as the soon-to-be-released EP ‘The Healer’ signed to novamute.
Taking place in September, Charlotte’s six-date tour begins at Queenstown’s Electric Rush Thursday the 20th, she then heads to Launceston’s Dogtooth Gallery on the 21st and then ending the first leg in Wollongong’s The Grand on the 22nd.
After a few days break, de Witte will be kicking off the AFL Grand Final weekend with a bang, where she’ll join DJ Koze and Gerd Janson for her biggest Australian show yet – smalltown at B3. This will be the biggest smalltown Novel have done to date, as it takes place in the Etihad (soon to be Marvel) Stadium carpark. Following on from Thursday, Charlotte heads to Adelaide’s Sugar on Friday and finally finishes up in Sydney once more with Koze and Janson, to play Moments Like This at Greenwood.
