Coldplay Announces Release Of New Single

Coldplay have unveiled the animated video for Hurts Like Heaven, the fifth and final single to be taken from the band’s worldwide Number One album, Mylo Xyloto.

To accompany the release of the new Single ‘Hurts Like Heaven’, Coldplay have collaborated a new animated music video with renowned director; Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda, Jurassic Park). The music video is the fifth and final single to be taken from the band’s worldwide number one album, Mylo Xyloto, depicting a graffiti gang’s colourful but doomed rebellion in opposition to Major Minus and his oppressive regime, following on as a prequel to Mat Groening’s celebrated bongo comic series ‘Mylo Xyloto’ which is to be released from Febuary 2013. The previous four videos for Mylo Xyloto singles have collectively been viewed online more then 267 million times on Youtube and Vevo.

The comic series is available to pre-order now from www.Coldplay.com and an exclusive making-of film for the video is available to Android users via the Xperia Lounge app; featuring two full tracks from Coldplay’s eagerly-awaited concert film/ live album, Live 2012, which is to be released on the 16th of November on CD/DVD, Blu-ray & digitally.
