Coldplay Live In Cinemas – Tuesday 13th November
Coldplay‘s first concert film/live album in over 9 years is to be screened in cinemas across the world on Tuesday 13th November. Documenting Coldplay‘s highly acclaimed Mylo Xyloto Word Tour, the film includes footage from Coldplay‘s performances at Paris’s Stade de France, Monreal’s Bell Centre and their exhilarating headline performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2011.
Coldplay 2012 will no doubt make a fascinating cinema experience, for those who didn’t make the live shows and also for those wanting to re-live it. One of our BBM spies may not be too keen to re-live her experience though, as a fellow female fan took a dump by her feet whilst she watched them perform at Glastonbury. Yuck!
Even so, this one night only special release in cinemas is highly anticipated. When discussing the film, Chris Martin said, “Over the years, our crowd has become more and more a part of the concert itself. They’re loud, diverse, full of soul, and make the songs sound much better than we can on our own. We wanted to try to bottle the incredible feeling that they give us, and hence our concert film.”
