Comedy Nights In Perth
When you’re yearning for some good times with memories that last, a night of laughs and banter is sometimes the only choice. We’re talking comedy nights, and Perth’s full of them. Just check this lot out for starters…
Lazy Susan’s
A comedic paradise from the experimental to the downright insane, Lazy Susan’s caters to everyone with all humour styles – excluding the easily offended! The comedy runs all week long, but Saturday is the most unique show of the week, when two teams of fearless comedians do battle in a cut-throat competition of wit, aptly named The Big Hoo Haa! This is a sight to be seen as great humour meets bad mime in the race to the punchline. As an audience member, it’s important to be fearless, as this show can get very interactive with improvised comedy sketches and hilarious participation.

The Comedy Shack
As they stop by, why don’t you join some of the world’s finest comedians and indulge in an evening of pure comedy? Located inside the Rydges Hotel Perth, The Comedy Shack is a great spot for enjoying some jokes, from international sensations during their world tour to checking out local open mic performers. Their mission is to make people laugh and carry on that laughter into the next show. The nights coincide with who’s available at the time, but you can enjoy material from professional comics such as Ben Darsow, Johnny Kats, Sami Shah, Ayden Doherty and Mark Mahon.

The Laugh Resort
This weekly comedy show has been running for over two decades, maintaining a fresh face and attracting big regular crowds time after time, seeing other comedy nights fall by the wayside. The Laugh Resort has been “keeping the heart of Perth Comedy alive” since it started in 1991
and has even played host to some big names over the years. Go down to Rosie O’ Grady’s every Wednesday to experience the comedy for yourself and you’ll be treated to local, national and international acts, along with the comedy stars of tomorrow testing out their material on the expecting audience.

Comedy Lounge
At the Comedy Lounge, there are not one, but two weekly nights at two different venues; Thursday nights at The Charles in North Perth and every
Saturday at Little Creatures Loft in Fremantle. Comedy Lounge offers its audiences a very diverse range of acts each night, so those of specific comedic tastes can find someone to get them laughing. You can also expect headliners from the U.K. and Ireland as the Comedy Lounge attracts some of the best acts from the two nations for ‘An Englishman, An Irishman and a Scotsman’, the annual international comedy gala.
