A long established Construction company in Melbourne is looking to appoint a Senior Construction Manager to oversee up to 4 project managers. The company delivers medium to large scale apartment and mixed use projects to clients across the Melbourne metro area. The main focus of the Construction Manager will be to oversee all construction activities (up to 5 projects) within the business.
Current conditions means the Construction Manager will not be overseeing day to day construction activities but will be working on all commercial, operational and development issues with up to 4 project managers reporting directly to you. You will be working will with people at every stage of construction and development in a fast paced environment alongside a team of industry professionals.Mainly involved in the apartment sector this company is looking for someone with local market knowledge and contacts,with experience in projects above $50M.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of the construction and delivery process including the implementation of systems and procedures to enhance the overall process.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a close knit team are key to success in this role.
