Danu5ik tips us on YouBloom, Detroit and Caicos Islands

Danu5ik tips us on YouBloom, Detroit and Caicos Islands From his home base of Puerto Rico, self manufactured EDM robot DVJ KING ARTHUR is progressively taking the universe by storm. Starting with a dream of becoming an astronaut, he became a mechanical engineer and ultimately used his expertise to create his signature robotic DJ suits and spaceship booths.
People go crazy at his shows and this did not go unnoticed!
Latin Grammy’s, a notable performance at Electric Daisy Carnival Puerto Rico 2012, 2013 and 2015, Latin Billboards, Univision and sharing the stage with globally recognized superstars such as Ricky Martin, Wisyn y Yandel, Chris Brown, Pitbull, Steve Aoki, Nervo, Deorroand R3hab are among his accolades.

What’s your name and what do you?
My name is Danu5ik and I am a DJ & Music Producer.
What kind of music do you play? What best describes your sound?
I play Electro House (EDM) and my sound is similar to Avicii
What would you say is your biggest influence?
My biggest influences would have to be David Guetta and Daft Punk as they have been on the DJ circuit for a long time and I love the variation of sounds that they come up with over the time that I have listened to them.
Where’s the best club you’ve ever played?
I don’t think that I have a best club as yet, but all that I have played at have had amazing crowds and really warm receptions.
And the best festival?
At present the last festival I played was YouBloom in Dublin Ireland. It was a great experience and as an upcoming artist it was great to be a part of something big and connect to other musicians and most importantly fans.
Where’s the most unique festival you’ve been to and what was so special?
I had the opportunity to go to K-Days in Edmonton Canada for the first time last year. It was a unique experience as I didn’t know what to expect, however I found the midway rides and games entertaining and enjoyable.
What was the most difficult festival you ever went to and was it worth it?
The most difficult would have to be YouBloom LA back in 2017. There was a lot that was unorganised and my performance time on the night changed around frequently, however I did manage to get it all done, but as I was still affected by jet lag it was really hard. It was worth having the experience to perform out in LA and everyone enjoyed it, although I do prefer set times to be fixed and not all over the place, as this also affects the fans frustration in waiting to see me.
Where’s your home town?
I was born in London England, but I live in Edmonton Canada.
What’s your favourite local bar/restaurant/bar/club?
On the Rocks in Edmonton or Knoxvilles as they have the energy that matches mine.
Where’s your favourite clubbing destination?
Ibiza Spain is a great clubbing destination for me or Detroit, Las Vegas, New York and San Francisco.
Is there something you can’t travel without?
My phone as I never travel with printed boarding passes and my laptop. When I am waiting for my flights you will always find me creating new songs and then when I land I can’t wait to get into the studio to finish them off.
What travel destination would you recommend our readers add to their bucket list?
Turks and Caicos Islands, as you would not believe how amazing it is until you experience it first hand. Don’t forget to check out their fish fry Thursday and a place called Bugaloos.
Where was the most surprising place you discovered a big music influence?
On Leicester Square (London) I use to meet a guy who performed on his guitar by hammering melodies. He was really amazing and I use to take moments to chat with him about music and harmonics and was always impressed that even in the freezing cold and rain he would set up his equipment and entertain everyone. Folks that passed him by really were moved by his music and that is one of the memories that inspires me to keep going and make a difference with my music.
Where can we see you play over the next few months?

At present we are getting the Synthonization Tour in place that should take me across the USA.
Anything else you would like to add?
