Yarra Valley Boutique Food and Wine Tour

Snow Day Trip to Lake Mountain and Waterfalls 

August reluctantly waves goodbye to winter in Melbourne and it is an amazing time for you to indulge at Lake Mountain resort, a popular weekend getaway.  Explore the widespread 37 km resort that encompasses vast cross-country ski trails, open meadows and toboggan hills, as well as five different waterfalls that plunge through the forests. Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles Day Trip

The Great Ocean Road which is the 243 km stretch of road along the idyllic south-eastern coast, is a listed as national heritage of Australia.  The great road was built between 1919 and 1932 and stands proud as the world’s largest war memorial.  The great road winds through different terrains along the coast amidst picturesque and famous landmarks.

  • Anglesea and Memorial Archway 

The tour begins at the Anglesea visitor information centre and moves on to the Great Ocean Road Memorial Archway at Lorne, where you can learn all about the history of the soldiers who built this great road.  Capture unforgettable moments of your life on the iconic Memorial Arch.

  • Apollo Bay and Otway National Park, Cape Otway

Indulge in the long-awaited lunch with the favours of the sea and top it all up with delicious ice-cream at Apollo Bay.  Head out to the lush green Eucalyptus forests of Otway and marvel at the Myrtle Beach trees.  

  • Shipwreck Coast

Wander along the waters which are thought to be the graveyard of around 700 shipwrecked vessels at the historic Shipwreck Coast!   

  • Port Campbell National Park

Arrive at Port Campbell National Park and be astounded by the limestone formations called the 12 Apostles.  Get great photographs of this wild and rugged coastline during your walks along the boardwalks.  Head down to Loch Ard Gorge for the site of a famous shipwreck, and marvel at more geological wonders of Island Archway, Razorback and ‘Salt and Pepper Shakers’.    

  • WW1 Memorial

Say bye to the Great Ocean Road and turn inland towards Melbourne via country roads!  Visit the WW1 Memorial monument at the country town of Colac before heading home to Melbourne.
