Dense + Pika Set For 2 Australian Dates

Hotflush Records and current techno juggernauts, Dense + Pika, have announced two Australian dates for later this month.

While the duo have only been collaborating together for a short amount of time, they have continually experienced critical acclaim for their releases. Since they first hit the studio 5 years ago, Dense + Pika have secured the support of scene leaders like Scuba, Adam Beyer and more. Their hit single “Colt”, from their 2013 eponymous EP, peaked at #3 on the Beatport charts, while all the tracks from the EP placed in Resident Advisor’s Most Charted Top 100. Not to mention the duo have created uncanny remixes for the likes of Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg, Digitalism, Disclosure, KDA, Leftfield, Maya Jane Coles, X-Press 2 and also Paul Woolford’s ‘Erotic Discourse’, which won the DJ Mag category for ‘Best Remix’ in 2014.

Dense & Pika will return to Australia riding high off the back of their latest EP ‘Calf’. They will kick things off in Melbourne on Friday 15th July at Brown Alley for the smalltown crew, before they head to Sydney’s Chinese Laundry on Saturday 16th July to round out their brief tour.
