DFA Future Music Festival Afterparty at Seven – 11th March

DFA fans rejoice at the chance to get double DFA in one day as Future Entertainment announces the record label’s official after party at Seven Nightclub, directly after Future Music Festival at Flemington Racecourse.

There is no denying James Murphy’s DFA Records is the original New York slice… having released some of the hottest acts in the world with the likes of Hercules & Love Affair, Holy Ghost! Horse Meat Disco and of course LCD Soundsystem (on which James Murphy partners with Pat Mahoney) this label is an all-conquering salute to what is cool in the world of electronica.

Continuing the party well into the night the official DFA Stage after party will feature extended sets from the mighty DFA/LCD Soundsystem DJs, Juan MacLean and Benoit & Sergio.

Those in the know will be aware by now that the DFA dudes have been given their own stage on the Future Music Festival tour featuring the very best of the label’s glittering artists giving punters an insight into the wonderful world of DFA magic.

Get ready for an exclusive trip into the best of what NYC has to offer as tastemakers James Murphy and Pat Mahoney curate the DFA stage after party that will feature blistering sets from DFA/LCD Soundsystem DJs (James & Pat) who promise to take you on journey through a DFA-infused land of rare cuts, exclusive edits, unreleased reworks and LCD-inspired bootlegs.

Juan MacLean is the cult figure amongst fans of the DFA sound. Juan’s synth-infused pop classics have inspired a legion of followers and continue to provide the soundtrack for big nights out and heaving parties from Brasilia to Berlin and everywhere in between. Benoit & Sergio are the two ruffians from Paris and Iowa respectively who make massive music together.
