Jay Pryor, the 23-year-old producer DJ from Dublin is on a roll. Known for his now signature breezy, catchy crossover pop dance, his most recent release ‘‘Rich Kid$ ft. IDA’ is already pushing 2 million streams on Spotify and is a firm fixture in the most influential playlists including the all-powerful ‘Mint’.
Having gained support from the titans of the scene from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Mistajam to the headlining names of the moment Tiesto, Martin Garrix and The Chainsmokers, everything is pointing to him being 2018’s one to watch.
He now releases five new and diverse remixes, showcasing different flavors from some of his specially selected contemporary peers. Check them out here:
Starting with Ellis, a rising talent and friend of Jay Pryor and was one of his first choices to remix. Here he infuses future bass like sound design with a house driven rhythm, one that will complement any dancefloor.
Shaun Frank has been a producer and writer that Jay has looked up to for many years. This remix brings epic brassy elements of the original to life whilst tastefully working in a creative use of the chopped vocal.
Having met One Bit whilst working in the studio his remix screams house influence, it’s a perfect blend of
the vocal and upbeat house rhythm and is built to make people dance.
Tom Westy in Jay’s opinion is one of the most underrated producers of our scene, an insane talent. Tom’s
remix is perfect for those underground sets; it lights up the crowd every time the track played out.
WiDE AWAKE is an artist that Jay has been following and has admired for a while, knowing that he would flip the way the original sounded with a low slung trappy feel with big builds and killer drops, packed with that jump up feeling.
