Double Whammy for Apple with iPhone 5s and 5c Release
We mourn the death of another iPhone model as Apple have unleashed the big boys – the 5s and the 5c.
After a detailed conference in California, Apple confirmed that their new product lines will include something for everybody with the ‘cheaper’ 5c model. Available in funky bright colours green, blue, yellow, pink and white, this plastic-covered phone is ever so slightly bigger that the 5s, and still has Siri intelligence, 8 megapixels, Facetime and many other mod cons that the more expensive 5s will have.
Rumours about the appearance of the iPhone 5s certainly took shape, as the phone is available in the much talked about champagne gold, silver and space grey colours. Being priced approximately $100 more than the 5c for 16GB and 32GB respectively, the 5s has the slight edge with an additional 64GB memory option. Some would say the upper hand also lies with this model because of the fingerprint identity sensor and an A7 chip with 64-bit architecture … which translated into English means that it will have a super powerful performance.
Other than that both models seem dandy, with the same ‘Lightning’ USB cable to charge up. For the first time ever they are splitting costs between a premium product and more affordable one. Looks like Apple have used their superhuman branding skills once again. We’ll see you at the back of the queue!
