Eagles & Butterflies set to soar in Australia
English-born, but LA-based producer Eagles & Butterflies will make his Australian debut with two headline shows in November.
Named as ‘One to Watch’ by Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank, Eagles & Butterflies AKA Chris Barratt is establishing himself at the top of the game for pushing the boundaries of the electronic music spectrum – from smooth downtempo to atmospheric house and techno, owing it all to his diverse set of engineering skills.
Support for Barratt comes from heavyweights Tensnake, Tales of Us, Richie Hawtin and Dixon among others, the latter of which closed his 2016 Dekmantel set with an unreleased Eagles & Butterflies track titled ‘X’. The reaction from the crowd was insanely positive and the song was subsequently premiered by Mixmag as a part of its Innervisions’ ‘Secret Weapon’ series earlier this month.
With recent releases on his own label Spread Your Wings as well as a two-track EP on Endless with Stephan JR, two solo EP’s on Bedrock and a full-length album released on Get Physical last year in addition to a number of remixes released; Barratt has had a busy couple of years and doesn’t look set to slow down any time soon.
The Australian leg of his tour kicks of on Friday 4th November at Revolver Upstairs in Melbourne before he heads to Sydney to play Blueprint @ The Bridge Hotel on Saturday 5th November.
Tour Dates:
