Electro Pop Trio Winters Island Release New Single Ares

Andy Trimmer, Sam Thomas and Will Kay formed Winters Island only a year ago but the start to their career has been captivating, gaining radio air time on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio Two show, amassing 200,000 views on YouTube and playing some of London’s best venues, including a support slot for Freddie Dickson at KOKO.

Their new track, ‘Ares’, crafts a sound that is both familiar and unique, mixing layers of giddy electro pop and indie with dark thrills from noisier genres. The strength of the lyrics is equally impressive for such a new band, as lead singer Andy Trimmer emotively proclaims “I’m a man that can’t be saved”.

‘Ares’ will be released 6th April.
